Reliability and empathy. These are the two traits that have always mattered most to me when I’m looking for someone to care for my pets. I need to know that someone is going to show up at the agreed upon time and do the agreed upon things, and I need for that person to genuinely care about and ensure my pets’ well-being. This is what I bring to every pet sitting assignment: Reliability and empathy.
I have shared my home with cats since I was seven years old. I have experience caring for cats with diabetes, kidney disease, and heart disease. I have participated in TNR (trap, neuter, return) programs in the US and in Greece, and have volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.
After many years as an administrative professional in the financial services industry, I decided to apply my energy, creativity, enthusiasm and strong work ethic towards creating my own pet sitting service in northwest Washington, DC.
While my business is focused on feline care, I also provide private walks for regularly scheduled, Monday – Friday canine clients between the hours of 11am – 2pm. Due to my small physical stature, I am only able to accommodate larger breed dogs who have benefited from professional training and/or who are reliably responsive to verbal commands. Additionally, I am available to care for other types of pets on a case by case basis.
I carry pet liability insurance through Pet Sitters Associates, am certified in pet first-aid/CPR, and hold a general business license in the District of Columbia.
My primary goal while caring for your pets is to ensure their safety and well-being, and your peace of mind.
